The view is breath taking from the Tappan Zee Marina. Over the years, TZM has evolved into a full service marina and presently includes a ships’ store, mechanical services as well as a fuel dock. TZM has been consistently operated by the same family since the early 1970s and they pride themselves on their willingness to provide unparalleled service.
The slips are surrounded with sturdy stable floating docks with water and electricity available for each boater. TZM accepts boats up to 40 feet in length for the subsequent season starting in February of each year. DON'T BELIEVE ALL THAT YOU HEAR river depths at our marina. AT TZM, THE DEPTHS OF WATER ACCOMODATE ALL SIZE BOATS. TZM is the most northerly marina in town and the winter weather patterns move the river bottom SOUTH and away from our marina. Even though TZM bears the brunt of winter storms, these storms aid in maintaining the depth of water within the TZ Marina. This permits our customers to use their boats at any time of the day or evening with much less concern about low tide.
A concrete patio lines two sides of the property with picnic tables and a barbeque for boaters’ use. TZM has created an inviting environment in which to enjoy your boating and watch the beauty of the Hudson River after a day on the water.
In addition, TZM boasts of the completely rennovated restaurant on the premises. Stop by the Lighthouse-on-the-Hudson Restaurant to enjoy food and beverages at the Tikki Bar on its expansive deck.
Inside, you’ll be surrounded by warm antique brick, huge tropical fish tanks with a great view of the Tappan Zee Bridge and be able to view the marina from the expansive deck. Come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Tiki Bar. Visit us to relax with deck side drinks or savor the cuisine while drinking in the view of the Majestic Hudson River.
